Learn More about All Green Irrigation’s Low Voltage Lighting Systems
Whether you want to light up large mature trees, posts on the gazebo/pergola, light the pathway to the back yard, or if you want to see more of the house from the road; landscape lighting is the perfect solution!
We offer a large variety of lighting fixtures, from path lights, to lighting for smaller shrubs, all the way to lighting up your largest of trees!
The beauty of landscape lighting is always in the eye of the beholder, what one person thinks looks marvellous, is unacceptable to another! Thus, we like to meet with the customer and go over all the specific areas they wish to bring to light before we prepare any written quote. Our training and experience in this field helps us guide and give suggestions on what we have done in the past, and what we think will be the best fit for each situation.
Understanding your Landscape Lighting's Basic Components
Transformer.
The transformer is where all the wiring meets together, and is plugged into a 110V outlet. It is usually outside or in a shed on the property, and transforms the 110 volts down to 12 volts, to make the system a low voltage output of power.
Timer.
The timer is what will activate the transformer to turn the power on or off. They are typically placed inside the transformer and most of the newer versions come with astronomical abilities, and will turn the lights on at dusk, and turn them off at dawn.
Fixtures.
The Fixtures are the lights themselves, and come in many shapes and sizes with all sorts of capacities.
